Hey Ricardo,
So many questions, so little time :-). We do need a BA reunion of some sort. I can still remember how kind you were to me in school and at church whenever I saw you. For me, a kid struggling to fit in, it was good to have a "cool" guy like you as a friend.
I am currently at Andrews University, working on a Phd in Leadership Education. My desire is to open up a Leadership school for women. My husband and I have a developed a non-profit company, Agape Global Outreach where we desire to help underinsured and uninsured minorities thorugh health screening and wellness programs (his part) and empowerment and education for business owernship and leadership (my part). We have 2 children Giovanni 12 and Ebony who is 9. Lots on the agenda and with God's leading and guidance we hope to get some great things done in the next year or two. I get to visit home at least once or twice a year, my family there is doing okay too.
I don't know if I agree with your assessment of my "young appearance" but I thank you for your kindness. I am just trying to stay sane and at peace in the midst of many challenges that come with working, schooling and trying to parent. Please keep me in your prayers.
So good to hear about you and what you are doing. I am glad you are keeping busa and are happy. Are you still thinking of having kids after 15 years of marriage without them? God Bless you in that regard. I value everyone's opinion about if and when to have children but I can tell you it does change your life drastically. I used to hit myself over the head for starting so early in my marriage to have kids then I got to thinking if I tried starting a family now, I might have a stroke. :-) So I guess my grandmother was right when she said there is no right or wrong time to start a family. You will have to get through it either way. For those who choose not to that is okay also, I just admire folks who can just live their life they way they choose is best for them.
I will be seeing Lisa and Keisha next week when I return to Oakwood for a College Choir/Aeolians Reunion under the direction of Dr. Eurydice Osterman. I will be sure to let them know I heard from you.
Thanks a mil for checking and sharing your updates with me. May God continue to bless you in each endeavor that you undertake.
